The use of locally available raw materials in soap production was carried out. The soap was prepared using sheabutter oil (SBO), palm kernel oil (PKO) and plantain peels.
The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), an organization working with sustainability standards within the palm oil industry, was therefore founded. Through the organization have principles and criteria been developed for a sustainable palm oil, which can be obtained through different certification systems. Laurance et al. (2010) mention.

These multi-objectives demand that the fertilizer recommendation systems for oil palm entail more than just the computation of optimum fertilizer rates. The other major components in the system are fertilizer management which includes correct timing, placement and methods of fertilizer application and right source of fertilizer.
African oil palm has the highest productivity amongst cultivated oleaginous crops. Species can constitute a single crop capable to fulfill the growing global demand for vegetable oils, which is estimated to reach 240 million tons by 2050. Two types of vegetable oil are extracted from the palm fruit on commercial scale. The crude palm oil and kernel palm oil have different fatty acid profiles.

The global palm oil market demand was estimated 74.6 million tons in 2019 and is projected to register a volume-based CAGR of 2.3% from 2020 to 2027. Significant growth in demand for the product from end-use industries coupled with rising consumer awareness regarding positive health benefits of palm oil are expected to be the prime drivers of market growth.
The rise of palm oil as the world's most consumed vegetable oil has coincided with exponential growth in palm oil research activity. Bibliometric analysis of research outputs reveals a distinct imbalance in the type of research being undertaken, notably a disproportionate focus on biofuel and engineering topics. Recognizing the expansion of oil palm agriculture across the tropics and the.
Palm oil, like all fats, is composed of fatty acids, esterified with glycerol.Palm oil has an especially high concentration of saturated fat, specifically the 16-carbon saturated fatty acid, palmitic acid, to which it gives its name.Monounsaturated oleic acid is also a major constituent of palm oil.
